Tiger’s Eye is a most ancient talisman, mysterious and powerful, revered and feared - an “all-seeing all-knowing eye,” thought to grant a wearer the ability to observe everything, even through closed doors.

Reminiscent of the eye of a bird of prey, this blue-gray to blue-green variety called Hawk's Eye is actually the phase in development of Tiger’s Eye before Quartz replacement of Crocidolite has altered to iron oxide, retaining the original gray-blue or green of the asbestos fibers. Hawk’s Eye is considered the most authoritative of the eye stones, warding off nightmares, protecting one from malice and jealousy, and providing deeper insights and awareness so one may see beyond the obvious.
