Our pure Frankincense essential oil is from India and distilled from the gum or resin of the Boswellia tree. It has been used for hundreds of years to treat arthritis, heal wounds, strengthen the female hormone system and purify the air. It can be used with a diffuser to promote relaxation and sleep or in rubs to ease inflammation and joint pain. It is also wonderful in homemade toothpaste and skin products. Frankincense helps increase cellular function, blood flow, and circulation, reduce skin discoloration and imperfections, balance hormones, improve memory, reduce inflammation, promote oral health, and create a feeling of wellness and relaxation.

I use Frankincense for a multitude of different healing purposes. I use it in aromatherapy sleep/stress release blends. It has a heavy earthy smell to it, so I like to pair it with something a little sweeter to balance it out a little! I also use it topically for it’s anti-inflammatory benefits in a muscle relaxant blend. It also has wonderful healing benefits for minor cuts and scrapes, and I use it in my healing salve as well! It’s an all-around powerhouse oil when it comes to healing!
