Our pure Melissa essential oil comes from the leaves of a plant belonging to the mint family. Melissa is Greek for honey bee, and its sweet, citrus fragrance was known to attract bees. The Melissa plant, also known as lemon balm, is cherished by many for its large array of uses and benefits. It can be used in a diffuser, in homemade products, diluted with a carrier oil, or simply inhaled from the bottle to experience its wonderful properties. Melissa is probably the most studied of the essential oils for its ability to serve as a natural treatment for Alzheimer's and is very likely one of the most effective. It is excellent for treating inflammation, stopping bacterial infections, treating eczema, acne and minor wounds, treating viruses, promoting skin health, boosting mood, reducing blood pressure, and relieving PMS and menstrual symptoms.

I've been using Melissa oil as soon as I feel a cold sore coming on. I used to get cold sore every couple of months. Since Melissa oil 5 years ago, I've had 3 actually progress to sores. This stuff, for me, is amazing!!
Company is great to deal with also and shipping is very fast!
I can't complain about the shipping price since I could buy this locally but chose to stick with this product since it's proven to work.
