Spikenard Essential Oil

Description

Spikenard Oil comes from a flowering plant of the Valerian family. It has been used for thousands of years. In ancient times it was regarded as one of the most precious oils often being used as a perfume, and medicine and manipulated for other religious purposes such as anointing. Spikenard is also known as Nard, Nardin and Muskroot. Native to the Himalayas of Nepal, China and found at altitudes of 10,000 feet where it grows to be about 3 feet tall. Spikenard Oil has a heavy, sweet, woody and spicy smell which resembles the scent of moss.
